Spray Foam Insulation Boulder
Spray Foam is a two-part product that is heated and then is sent through a hose into the stud cavity, where it hardens in a matter of seconds and creates a long-term barrier that keeps your home comfortable and energy efficient.
Blown In Attic Insulation Boulder
Consisting of small pieces of insulation, this type of insulation can quite literally fill every nook and cranny of a space and create an uber-fluffy layer of effective insulation. Our technicians ensure your attic, wall and ceiling cavities are filled correctly and without gaps or voids.

One of the most recognizable forms of insulation. Batt comes in large rolls or pre-cut sections that are typically pink or yellow in color. These are installed in sheet form and laid out between the studs in walls, floors, and attics.

Koala Insulation Of Boulder
Koala Insulation of Boulder works Boulder County, Jefferson County and the communities west and north of Denver. Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Erie, Broomfield, Westminster, Arvada, Golden and Lakewood, plus the foothills and mountain properties beyond them.
That territory covers close to a century and a half of housing stock. Late 1800s homes in the original town cores of Boulder, Golden and Longmont. Brick ranches, split levels and mid century designs built across Lakewood, Arvada and Westminster in the post war decades. Multi story subdivisions that filled in Broomfield and Lafayette during the US 36 tech corridor build out. And the master planned neighborhoods of Erie, almost all of it built after 2000.
Different eras, different framing, different failure points. A 1962 ranch with a shallow attic and a boxed in whole house fan is a different job than a 2006 two story with disconnected attic sections, and both are different from a 1910 Boulder home with an addition off the back and a dirt crawl space underneath.
What does not change is the standard. Air sealing before insulation. Baffles at every eave. The attic hatch treated as part of the building envelope. Ventilation balanced rather than ignored. Insulation installed to the level your jurisdiction requires, at even depth, with enough depth gauges that you can verify it yourself.
Most companies will add five inches on top of what you have and leave. That is not what we do, and it is why our customers stop calling insulation companies after us.

Koala did a great job of replacing our attic insulation! The super nice technicians arrived on time and took special care with every step of the process. They removed the old insulation, sealed up all openings including around wires and fixtures, and blew in brand new insulation. They left everything, including the driveway, clean—no lingering bits of fluff anywhere! Thank you, Koala, for a job well done!

Such a professional company to work with. They are quick to respond, and they left my home in great condition. After we had issues with our attic fan due to the box, they put around it to ensure our new insulation was protected. The Sales Manager and Project Manager came out to fix the problem themselves. They had it figured out and running like normal within an hour. I won't need insulation again for several years but would recommend them to anyone looking to replace theirs.

Best possible experience. Estimator came out right away and the crew arrived even early the next day. They were fast and efficient and did the expected work in no time at all, even cleaned up so that you would never know they had been there. Superior service.

These guys are fantastic. I had them come in to blow insulation into my 1980s home between my main floor wood floors and my basement ceiling. It no longer sounds like my kids are a herd of elephants and I have the unexpected benefit of not having to use as much heat in the basement. The technicians were all courteous and the company was great to work with.

The team at Koala is a level above everyone else. We are a GC and have done repeated insulation projects with them. From the owner, Chris, on down, everyone is super professional, courteous, prompt, and dedicated to getting the job done right. A pleasure to work with.

Devin was super flexible and worked around our chaotic schedule. The spray foam in our crawlspace has made such a huge difference for our house—the downstairs is no longer drafty at all (and it used to be very drafty). I’m a bit OCD and noticed a few places where the foam was a tiny bit scant, and Koala came out right away, no questions asked, to spray more foam. They truly did an amazing job and I would highly recommend Koala Insulation.

I cannot say enough about Koala Insulation! I had a small job but it needed to be done at a specific time when we were having other work done. Probably one of their smallest jobs and KI was incredibly helpful and accommodating as if it were a much bigger deal. From the person who did the estimate to the support I got in person or one the phone every single person was kind, willing to explain every step and the result is phenomenal. The area of my home that wasn’t insulated was always freezing when it was cold out. We just had a cold snap and I was thrilled to see it was a good 10 degrees warmer than it used to be. I’m thrilled for the cost savings in heat and AC! Well worth it!

Great service. Team was professional.
Explained what they were doing in detail and then showed pictures after. They were respectful of furniture and fixtures. They left everything as they found it. My goal was to improve insulation in a cold bathroom. so far so good. I may even get some reduction in noise. Thank you Koala.

Company responded to my inquiry and a consultation was scheduled quickly. Consultation was direct and to the point with minimal salesmanship, which was appreciated. When I was ready for the project to be scheduled, that was handled quickly as well. Work was completed quickly and efficiently with minimal hassle. Workers were communicative about progress, and reviewed everything after it was completed. Workers were also very clean during the work and cleaned everything up when they were completed. Overall, very satisfied with my experience with the company and the service.

I hired Koala to insulate my crawl space and replace the old insulation in my attic. They came by pretty quickly to inspect the space and provide an estimate, and offered a really reasonable price. On the actual day of installation, they worked quickly and pretty quietly. I can feel an immediate difference in the warmth of my kitchen (the biggest issue on cold days). Really happy with their work and professionalism.

Koala Insulation of Boulder:
I contacted Chris White from Koala Insulation of Boulder in late November and he was able to get me scheduled before the holidays. His spray technician Bernie and assistant Brandon showed up promptly on the morning of installation. They were both very professional, polite and friendly. I was communicated to exceedingly well, and knew from start to finish what was happening. Care in clean up was also done well.
My back office and garage attic now feel much warmer and quieter and these efficiency improvements will add value to my home. I can now do some final wiring and finish work with confidence.
I am quite pleased with the results and would recommend Koala Insulation to anyone. Money well spent!

UPDATE: It's been over a month now and I'm so happy I did this! I used to know how cold it was outside the second I put my feet on my bedroom floor, but now I have no idea because it's toasty warm! Thanks again guys!

I'm a hard guy to impress, but impress me they did! Devin was thorough when we went over my needs, and he was great with communication and getting me an estimate quickly. The price for the foam insulation job was very reasonable (I'd looked previously and had sky high estimates).
The Job. My house has numerous rooms with cantilevers that overhang the level below, and they were poorly insulated in the late 70's. The floor over these cantilever areas was freezing all winter long! I had enough, time to fix it properly!
Bernie was the specialist that was sent to do my job and he was great! He and his assistant were extremely courteous, professional and clean! They went above and beyond when hearing what was most important to me, and did an outstanding job! They were fast, polite and made a big effort to work cleanly.
I'm extremely happy with the job that Koala Insulation of Boulder did, and will definitely call them back for the other insulation projects that my older house needs. Bring on the cold!
Thanks guys! - Craig

Chris the owner was very communicative and his team helped us figure out what we needed. They didn’t push for anything we weren’t interested in. The quality of work was outstanding- the install team made sure to dam all the areas of the attic where blown in insulation could fall as well as around the attic hatch, which also forces the batting above the hatch to stay in place. I feel like they offered a fair price for materials & services and were able to schedule us quickly. All in all, a great company to work with.

The Koala team provided great service from start to finish. The free evaluation was easy and they provided us with thoughtful recommendations along with a few different packages to choose from. On the day of the install, the crew was efficient, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Zero issues with installation and they were very considerate regarding prep and clean up. Overall, we've been very happy with our decision to use Koala and would gladly recommend their services to others. We're looking forward to enjoying a much warmer winter!

After replacing our metal barn roof we discovered the last spray foam company ripped us off, charging for 3” of foam and only applying 1.5” of foam. Koala was extremely fair on price for removing the old material and quoting an entire reapplication. This is a very expensive process regardless, however they’re worth it! From start to finish it was clear that honesty, quality and customer satisfaction is what their company is built upon. We’re very happy with our end result!

Amazing service, the team was very quick, got us in earlier than expected and was in and out quickly. They added more insulation than I expected and left our house very clean. We opted for the solar fan and added a few soffits. Man was that the right move. After adding central air to our house we noticed the upstairs would not cool down when sun was shinning on house but after this service it is night and day difference. Our AC isn’t running all day, we are cool and saving tons of $$
