St. Paul Attic Cleanup and Insulation

What we found
This attic had a little bit of everything, and none of it was good. There was a raccoon problem, and not just one animal either. Mom was there with her young, which made the whole situation a lot more involved than a normal attic job.
On top of that, there was mold in the attic too. So, this was not just about insulation. It was about getting the space cleaned out, treated, and ready to actually work the way it should.

How we started
The first step was a full removal. That had to happen before anything else.
Once the attic was cleared out, we sprayed Attic Fresh to help deal with the raccoon odor. After that, a mold-killing solution was applied to the roof deck. That part mattered because you cannot really build back the right way if the space still has the same problems sitting there.

What we added
After the cleanup and treatment work, we air sealed the attic and blew in cellulose insulation to bring the space up to R60.
That kind of upgrade does a lot at once. It helps the attic hold temperature better, improves efficiency, and gives the home a much better setup going forward. The attic went from being a problem space to one that should perform the way it is supposed to.

Why it mattered
A job like this is never just one issue. The raccoons, the smell, the mold, and the weak insulation were all working against the house at the same time.
Once everything was removed, treated, sealed, and insulated, the homeowner had a much cleaner and more functional attic again. That usually makes a bigger difference than people expect. Less odor, less waste, and a lot less worry.
