We had a fantastic experience with Koala Insulation. They are an Atmos Gas-approved contractor, which made it easy to secure a $1,000 weatherization rebate. This was a huge help in stretching my elderly parents' budget. The home was built in 2005 and only had an insulation rating of R-12; after their service, it’s now at R-50. The process was smooth, professional, and highly effective. I highly recommend them

Koala Insulation did a fantastic job upgrading the insulation in our attic and other parts of the house. They identified key areas for improvement, and the project plan earned praise from our home energy advisor. When it was discovered on the day the work was to take place that an issue with construction of our house prevented the project from happening as originally planned (and bid), Koala worked to troubleshoot the issue and provided us with a compromise solution that was fairly priced and still allowed for maximum insulation benefit under the circumstances. The Koala team who did the work were friendly, professional, and great to have around. They finished the job quickly and cleaned up completely afterward. We’re looking forward to greater comfort and energy savings this winter!

These guys were fantastic. I knew the insulation in my attic was low (around 6–10 inches), so they came out, assessed the situation, and provided a quick, clear estimate. I considered doing it myself, but for just a bit more money (and a lot less time and hassle) it made so much more sense to have them handle it. I'm glad I did. The upstairs temperature has dropped by about 5°+ on 90° days, and now it's roughly the same as downstairs which is huge for my A/C unit and electric bill.

My experience with Koala of NoCo was absolutely great. Very professional, kept to their schedule, and more importantly to MY schedule which was constantly, unfortunately, affecting theirs! My job was a 2600sf out-building with spray-foam walls and blow-in ceiling insulation. They did a fantastic job. Justin was super-helpful with explaining the process and went into detail when I asked questions about it. I'm an engineer and so details are my thing. He was awesome, same with the entire crew And, just for reference, right now on July 4 2025, my house has no A/C due to a failed blower motor in my HVAC system. Today, my house was 78 degrees at 2pm with outside temp being 89. In the out-building, the thermostat showed 77. So, yeah, their work is for real. I would highly recommend them for any insulation work.

Josh showed up on time to give me an estimate and took the time to explain to me what could be done to better insulate my home without upselling me or pressuring me into buying more than I what I felt comfortable spending. Some of our bedrooms are very cold in the winter and in the summer the house is hot and the AC runs almost all day every day. We knew that wasn’t right so decided we should have someone check our insulation. Our home was built in 2002 so codes have changed AND Colorado has gotten hotter.

The actual team arrived promptly at 9am on the scheduled date and immediately got to work. They air sealed and added insulation within 3 hours in my large attic, bringing it up to code. They were professional and polite, laid down plastic and drop cloths around the attic access, and cleaned up everything and vacuumed before they left. My toddlers were very curious and the team were friendly and accommodating to them, too!

I got 4 different bids for this job and I’m happy I decided on Koala. I felt the value was fair and I’m so excited to have a better insulated home for this upcoming summer!

My husband and I are both Veterans so we also appreciated the veterans/military discount on the services too. I already recommended them to our neighbor with the same house build.

Updating my review because I had Koala out to insulate a shed recently. They did a fantastic job with the spray foam. They left the area surprisingly clean.

Before and after photos for a night a day difference! Had them blow in insulation to bring the attic from R-18ish to R-60. Can't wait to see the difference in bills! Scott and Justin were great to work with, they got me the estimate quickly and then got me scheduled within a few days. Professional, clean and on time! I'll definitely recommend Koala to anyone who needs insulation!

We cannot recommend this company highly enough! Justin and Scott were always exceptionally responsive, even when I texted on a weekend, not anticipating a response until the next business day. The team that came and performed the work was outstanding - professional, efficient, friendly and loved on our dogs. When Scott came to give us a quote, he had said that as soon as they left our house once the work was done (they sealed the attic, removed old insulation, filled with new insulation to code, and installed a solar fan), we'd notice a difference temperature wise. Honestly, I find it unreal, but he wasn't wrong. For example today it is 87 degrees outside, but 70 degrees in our house. We no longer need to use the AC, which is just incredible. Worth every penny - and we felt even before the work was done that the price was fair. Justin goes above and beyond, there is zero doubt about that. While we weren't able to get an XCEL rebate with this company, read the reviews for the other local companies you would receive a rebate with. Knowing this in advance, we made the decision to stick with Koala of NoCo because even without the rebate, there is no doubt in my mind we made out ahead. I would give them 20 stars if I could. If only I could say the same about the local company who installed our five indoor mini-split units prior to this attic job...
