We had several companies come out to quote us Insulation and koala was the best value in the workers were awesome. I wanna give a shout out to Isaiah and Tommy. They were awesome. There was a small little issue and they came right back super quick and fixed it I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

I had a great experience with Koala Insulation. Uwe came to my home and took the time to thoroughly evaluate its energy efficiency, explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand. I had a wonderful experience with Isaiah and Tommy from Koala Insulation ! They were knowledgeable and friendly . They blew in the insulation , sealed my attic door with a reflective cover and sealed my attic fan ( which we’ve never used ) . And I’m getting a rebate from Duke Energy ! I will recommend them to all of my friends and family ! Good job Koala !!

I just had my first interaction with Koala Insulation, and it was great! They were one of 4 names provided by Duke energy. The estimator was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and on time! Their price for my attic insulation upgrade was very good, and they got to my job quickly. Best of all, the installers Matt & Kayden were awesome. The carefully explained what and how they were going to do, very carefully spread protective plastic in my home and got right to work. When they were finished, the cleaned everything up like they were never here. The were both kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable about their work. I can honestly highly reccomend Koala Insulation, and especiallly Matt & Kayden.

UPDATE - After I posted this review, the owner, contacted me and asked that we address these issues and come to a resolution. I agreed and was hoping to talk. Again, however, no response. Empty words, empty promises. See screenshots below for details.
ORIGINAL POST - The experience went from good to poor and the result is far below what should be expected. The owner does not follow through on what is promised.
We contracted Koala to encapsulate our crawlspace. The owner spent time going through the process and options which we appreciated greatly.
The work was scheduled and started, but ran long compared to what we were told. The work was substandard, with many gaps, falling vapor barrier off the walls etc - and so a second installation was required.
Despite a significant amount of back and forth, we are still dealing with the results of poor installation and workmanship - and this was validated by a recent site visit by one of the company’s own employees who stated “the pillars were not done correctly and need to be redone.”
More time and texts with the owner have passed and still no resolution, months later.
Beware - not a company that does high quality work or one that completes the work despite promises to set everything right.
