Brian was excellent to work with. He spent the time to go over the process of raising concrete on parts of my driveway and entry area. He was able to make the concrete level almost as good as new. He gave us the estimate and did the work after only 5 days and that was with the 4th of July during that timeframe. I would highly recommend them for all your raising concrete and insulation needs.

I can not say a better experience with a contractor has ever occurred to us. Brian was great at identifying more issues with my attic insulation that were inadequate for 2026. I was so impressed with Brian's approuch that we added work to solve more issues with drafts. Koala does not collect any fees until after we are satisified with the complete contract. Jaxon, Logan, and Zack installed with professionalism and explained everything . Rain forced them to return on another day to finish the contract. I even tipped them for a great performance. The newly insulated attic has made our living room warm again.

I recently had my garage insulated and drywalled using Koala Insulation and O@O Painting and Dry wall. My experience started with Justin, who came to my home and gave me detailed quotes for insulation options. He also recommended the drywaller, who I went with as well. The crew came in full force ready to work and assisted me mov in things in my garage. The job was finished in 1.5 days, which included spray in foam and pink insulation. I was very happy with the crew, who were very respectful and cleaned up any mess. The crew also helped me with moving things back into my garage and attic. We would highly recommend Koala Insulation! Brain Aho thoroughly explained the type of insulation we should use for our house and how long it would take to install the insulation. Crew manager Aaron Zack did an awesome job with his crew. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, answered all questions we had, and always cleaned up each night.

The team at Koala was very quick at responding to my inquiry to getting my box sills spray foamed. They also were great from the scheduling standpoint, and we did shift the dates due to extreme temperatures (-15F), but they worked with me to reach my timeline needs and keep my project moving. I was impressed with Brian Aho during the initial site visit to get a quote. He listened to my concerns and was able to answer all my questions. Brian quoted the job based on what I wanted done, he did not try to upsell anything beyond what I asked. The communication was very good throughout the entire process. The installers, Jaxon & Logan were very professional, polite, on time, and kept me up to date on the progress of the project during the day. The truck, trailer and equipment were all in very nice condition. They were efficient and considerate within my home. I have a winding staircase with freshly painted walls and somewhat fancy trim work, and Jaxon & Logan were very careful handling their very long blown insulation hose through my front entrance while navigating it up to the second floor attic. They cleaned up after themselves to the point that when they left, I couldn’t even tell they were here. Nice work start to finish. I would recommend Koala to my friends and family without hesitation.

We hired Koala insulation of the fox valley to insulate our entire crawl space at our cottage. They sprayed the under floor between all floor joists, the rim joist all the way around. Laid down thick plastic over the stone floor and up the block wall a little and then sprayed the entire block wall to create a nice seal. We are very pleased with the quality of work. They left our property spotless. Brian was great at keeping us informed at every step. We give them the highest rating as they were a great company to work with and the price was reasonable.

Should I remove my old insulation or add more on top for our cold winters?
When the insulation you already have is dry, sound, and pest-free, building it up toward roughly R-60 is often a practical way to fight Fox Valley cold.
