I had a great experience with Insulation Contractor. The team inspected my home, identified insulation gaps, and explained the repair options clearly. Brian came to see how his company could improve the insulation at my house and he is knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell the services, told me straight up what would be beneficial without costing too much. I decided to get R-60 blown in cellulose. Quite dusty but they did what they could to reduce the amount of dust near the attic hole. There's some paper smell in the area now but that should go away soon. They also did the rim joist and the work was careful and well executed. I think the price is fair and having it done by someone with experience takes much less time than an attempt at DIY. I would recommend Koala.

I gave 1 star only because I had to. They don't even deserve any stars. I called Koala insulation & spoke to Brian. He came out to my house 3/5/26. I had damage done from the snow storms. I needed him to give me an estimate for attic insulation. A week went by & no quote for an estimate. I called him to find out why I never received the quote. Brian said he needed to talk to his installer about my job & will get the quote to me in a day or two. It is now 2 weeks & still no estimate. This company is very unreliable & I wouldn't trust them doing any job or work in my house after them neglecting to send me a quote after having to call them about it. This makes me question what kind of work would be done in my house. I called other insulation companies since I never received a quote from Koala & was given an estimate the same day they came to my house. I didn't have to wait 2 weeks & still received nothing from Koala insulation. My attic is already completed. Getting a price the same day shouldn't be a so difficult.

I’m pleased with Koala Insulation. The work was done in a timely manner. I was pleased with the final results. Brian was easy to get a hold of and promptly got back to me when I called with questions. I would recommend him for insulation.

Brian did a great job scoping out the project and making sure everything I was looking for was included in the quote. Lewis and Ed took care of my installation from there, they did a great job removing my existing insulation, air sealing, and blowing in cellulose afterwards. They made sure to put plastic down to prevent any insulation from getting tracked throughout the house and cleaned up any mess on their way out. They did a fantastic job!
I have an energy monitor I installed for my house, and I am already able to see my heat pump using about 1/3 of the energy it had been using before the upgrade. It's amazing to see that despite the following days being colder at my house than before the upgrade, my house is still using significantly less electricity for heating. (Install day was Wednesday in the attached chart)
