Lakewood Ranch Garage Comfort Upgrade

What we walked into

This Lakewood Ranch garage was one of those spaces that never really felt good to be in. No insulation in the attic above it, and the garage door itself was bare too.

That usually means the same thing every time. Hot when it is warm out, uncomfortable when it is cooler, and just not a great place to work for long. Garages can turn into a problem space fast when nothing is helping hold the temperature.

What we added

Our West Florida crew insulated the garage attic and the garage door so the space would be more comfortable to use. That was the whole point here.

When a garage has no insulation overhead or on the door, the temperature moves too freely. Once those areas are treated, the room starts behaving more like part of the home and less like a place the weather controls.

How the job went

This was a pretty clean job from start to finish. Chris and Johan handled the work, and the homeowner said they did a great job and cleaned up well after they were done.
