Cannot recommend against this company strongly enough. Their people are very friendly and personable and they promise the moon, but do not deliver it.
We contracted them to insulate a 160 square foot structure with 2x4 framing and were told they would put 3" of closed cell foam in. We were given a very reasonable quote and set a date for install within a month.
Three guys came out to do the work. Two sat in the truck all day complaining at the trainee to hurry up. The trainee refused to wear an air conditioned suit on a 90° June day, meaning he was severely overheated throughout the whole afternoon.
We paid for the job prior to completion and when we went to inspect the work, some areas had not been sprayed at all. We asked for touch-ups and pointed out our concerns. The trainee got right back to work but they didn't put the cellophane back up so all our outlets, light switches, exposed beams, window screens, open pipes, light fixtures, you name it got over spray on them.
We repeated the inspection process two more times. The third inspection occured after sunset so we were unable to see that many areas on the ceiling had less than 1/2" of spray foam. The trainee promised to come back tomorrow to finish up, and true to his word, he did come back.
He came back alone with some cans of spray foam and proceeded to work on removing the vast quantities of over spray. He spent the whole day working in the building, with his large knife cutting into Ethernet cables and cutting chunks out of wooden window casings. The following day his supervisors (the business owners) came out to assist and the three of them spent all day with brillo pads to dull our glossy switches and outlets, insult us for making poor choices, and treat us like children when we asked for another truck to come out and provide the 3" of foam we were promised, stating "we can probably give you $10 for a couple of cans of spray foam"
We worked with corporate, who repeatedly ghosted us, only heard from the franchise one time, when they offered us a 25% refund to attempt to get us to leave them alone, and waited months before performing any ameliorative work on the project ourselves. We eventually spent another 75% of the project cost to complete the insulation job with home kits and despite asking for warranty work, satisfaction guarantee, refund, etc, never got anywhere with the company. We have an open case with BBB which the franchise is ignoring.
We attempted hiring an attorney, who made some small progress with the franchise, but according to him, corporate made it clear that if we pursued legal action, a countersuit was not unlikely and we were going to be made to suffer under the weight of the company's resources, pressuring us to stop pursuing any legal recourse before we lost more money than the original job already cost us.
We have spent nearly a year and a half trimming back overfilled cavities, taking brillo pads to PEX pipes before fitting them, re-wiring Ethernet jacks, sanding off over spray and knife marks from exposed woods, and generally bringing the space back to a build able state following the chaos caused by Koala.
I am certain this company has the capacity to perform quality work but I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with them, simply on the merit of their business attitude that customers are simply walking wallets and otherwise a nuisance to them.

They added blow-in insulation in our attic. Good people! Arrived on time, worked fast, cleaned up and were on the way after completing their contracted work. Will definitely recommend them when asked.

I value a company that does what it says and provides a quality product. Payne Cook was very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. Even though the installation team was a member short, they made the extra effort to get the job done well and on time. I would call Koala Insulation again and recommend them to others.
