Being that we live in the country the rodents decided to open up a hotel in our insulation. The estimator Quoted a price and we got a 2 nd quote. Cheaper isn’t always the best . Understanding that the time and work that went into our modular.
We went with the higher cost. And the prime reason was the way they wrote up the estimate itemized with the breakdown of the cell 2 foam. They worked 2.5 days trying to remove the entire unit. And with the spraying of the foam we had No issues with smells of the foam. What a Great Team of people who take Pride in their work and service. We are extremely grateful for their service. Veterans own Veterans Served.
And they do offer Financing if you need it.

I’ve used Koala before and they’ve done great work for me. They did both spray foam and batt insulation work. Would use again.
Update to prior review: I’ve had Koala take care of a rental property that I purchased and they did a good job on the second job too! The removed the old insulation and put in all new in the crawl space, walls and attic!

Good quality work was done in a timely and professional manner. They showed up on time with clean modern equipment. The job was completed to my satisfaction with a fair price, I highly recommend this company.

Koala (David Friend and crew) solved a moisture problem I’ve tried to have corrected for 21 years. David listened, went in my attic took pictures, and scheduled a crew to fix it. I’ve had other contractors over the years who didn’t listen and didn’t fix the problem. My attic humidity dropped 23 points in humidity in 2 hours. It went from 78% humidity to 55%. I’m 69 years old and have dealt with contractors both personally and professionally (around the world). This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. Super nice and seamless from first contact to completion.

Koala Insulation did an outstanding job at my home! They professionally removed all the old insulation and expertly blew in new, high-quality insulation throughout the house. Their attention to detail was impressive—they meticulously applied spray foam around the attic edges, AC units, trunks, and light fixtures, ensuring every nook and cranny was perfectly sealed. The team was efficient, courteous, and left the place spotless. My home feels noticeably more comfortable and energy-efficient already. I highly recommend Koala Insulation for their exceptional service and top-notch work!

Koala Insulation came out to provide closed cell insulation for our building. From the start of just getting the estimate to finish with the crew doing the work, we were very pleased with this company. Everyone was very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. Thank you!

Jason with Koala was very prompt on giving us an estimate for several jobs for several different applications of insulation. All Koala services that we’ve hired them to do, have been high quality with the best materials. Haven’t met an Koala employee yet that has given me a bad vibe and most importantly all were friendly and respectful Thanks Koala

Had them at our home yesterday to install the spray foam insulation in the section of attic above our family room ( converted from a garage) I wish we would've done this sooner. I noticed a huge difference in the temperature in this room as soon as I walked in the house, as well as the rest of our house was noticeably cooler The crew was very efficient and polite. The price was affordable as well I highly recommend

UPDATE: After posting the 1 star review and contacting my salesman at Koala I got a call back from the owner Matt apologizing for the work. He also assured me he would make it right. The following week he sent a different crew to my house that verified all of the mistakes from the previous crew and later that week came back to fix all of the problems. My attic now looks like what I expected from the first crew. If it wasn't for the issues from the first crew I would give Koala 5 stars.
ORIGINAL: I called Koala to get some insulation added to my attic since it was nowhere near the R-38 recommended for our zone. Jason came out and I walked the attic with him to show him how shallow the insulation was (blown cellulose less than 4 inches) and to show him some of the eave baffles that weren't installed properly. He gave me a quote to fix the baffles, seal cam lights and get my attic insulation to R38. His 2 man crew (1 in the attic and 1 running the blower) did my whole attic in ~4 hours on July 3rd. Two days later I crawled the whole attic and found rooms where the insulation was less than 4 inches (should be 10.5 inches minimum everywhere), most baffles were never touched and the ones that were added were pressed up against the roof deck blocking all the airflow. I called Jason and he said to send him a report so he can set up a work order. I did that on July 5th and now I'm waiting to hear back from him. I'll update this review as things resolve.

Our insulation needs was for a high-performance home. The insulation used in different areas of the home was open-cell and close-cell. We are extremely satisfied with the air tightness of the home, sound proofing, and not to forget, the substantial benefit on our energy bill. The team was professional, dedicated, and the quality of work from them was by far, like if they owned the company. A special thanks to Joseph Miller, for being part of the work from beginning to end. Great work at a great price. I highly recommend them!
