Attic insulation. Koala is the best! The office staff is responsive and patient. Provided me with insulation options. Andrew gave a true estimate and also was the technician on my job. I really like that. I prefer the person giving the estimate is the person doing the job. Keeps thigs simple. Their clean up after insulation was excellent. I didn't have to do a thing. Our house is much cooler now. I'm so glad I picked them from the FPL PIC list.

My husband and I can’t thank Koala insulation enough. They were Awesome from beginning to end. Starting from the fantastic customer service with Kristine, Andrew came out and gave us a quote, and 3 very professional and respectful gentleman came out to do the work. Robert, Joel, and Camilo. From start to finish, this was a good experience. On 3/30/26, I called and left a message for Koala Insulation, inquiring about getting some additional insulation blown into my attic. Eight minutes later a very pleasant woman called me back and scheduled me for an estimate.
On 4/2, right on time, a salesman arrived and gave me a fair estimate. They even sent a text saying he’s on his way, with a tracker showing exactly where he was at any time. I really appreciated not having to guess if or when he’d actually show up.
After climbing around in my attic and taking photos to show me, he gave me a quote with two options. I chose to go with the thicker, roughly $2,300 R-30 option because my original attic insulation was roughly 4 inches, and it was only a $400 difference between that and the R-19 option. I accepted on the spot and was scheduled for 4/15.
On the designated date a crew of three arrived on time, and in a few hours, they were finished and cleaned up. Everyone was friendly, very professional, focused on their work, and seemed to love their jobs. They took before and after photos for me, which included measuring tapes showing the new depth at 15".
Being the geek that I am, I own an expensive thermal camera. I had checked before this additional insulation and found lots of super-hot spots in my ceilings where insulation was either very thin or completely missing. After the install, my ceiling temps are much lower, and there are none of those much hotter spots.
It’s only been a few days, but I can already tell that my A/C system is running less often. That means lower electric bills and less wear and tear on my A/C unit. If possible, I'll come back and update this review in a few months after I see just how much per month I'm saving. It will probably take two or three years to break even on my electric bills, but I’m happy and highly recommend Koala.

I needed insulation in my attic badly, my electric bill was sky high. I called Koala Insulation and they sent an inspector out the same day. He confirmed I had maybe 2 to 6 inches of attic insulation and over one room there was zero. He gave me a quote and it was very reasonable. I said when can you do the job. The next day he had me scheduled for their team to come out and blow in the fiberglass insulation filling all parts of my attic.
Koala used Blown in insulation: Consisting of small pieces of insulation, this type of insulation can quite literally fill every nook and cranny of a space and create an uber-fluffy layer of effective insulation. Their technicians ensure your attic, wall and ceiling cavities are filled correctly and without gaps or voids.
When they finished which was right around one hour I had already felt the amazing change in my air conditioning unit. They had blown in up to 12 inches of insulation as you can see on the markers they left. Now it was blowing colder air and had a better and stronger air flow coming out of the vents in every room of my house. Being is there had been no insulation prior surrounding my air ducts in the attic. This caused hot air from the attic to come down through the ceilings in my home, therefore my air conditioner could not keep the house cool and it ran all day long. Not anymore! The air conditioner when it reached the temperature set on my thermostat, finally shut off.
What a difference after Koala Insulation had completed the job. The house maintained the temperature and my entire house was cool throughout the day. I definitely waited to long to have this well needed insulation blown in. I have included photos of before and after Koala completed the job. You can see by the rulers they set up in the attic how much insulation they blew in. The first set of photos were before the new insulation was blown in (dates and time on the pics). The last set of photos are after the new insulation was blown in (dates and time on pics).

I hired Koala to blow attic insulation in my home. They sent someone out to give me an estimate. He was courteous, on time and very knowledgeable. The estimate was very fair and we set an install date. They showed up for the install on time, explained the process and went to work. They sent me before and after pictures of the work in progress.
