At Koala Insulation of North Texas, we are looking for a professional, hands-on Project Manager / Sales Manager to help grow our team. The owner of Koala Insulation of North Texas is looking for a person to help run and oversee the day-to-day operations of this company. Our new hire will help oversee and grow the company based on the business plan already implemented. Koala Insulation of North Texas is an insulation contractor providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors, and property owners. This is a management position within the company. The role involves hiring of the crew including selecting candidates, conducting interviews. This position is also responsible for the training and scheduling of employees. The Project Manager / Sales Manager will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the business including insulation removal and installation, as well as ensuring that vehicles and equipment are maintained and operated safely. This position will also handle customer scheduling, customer care questions and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Hires, trains, and coaches/mentor's new employees.

2. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.

3. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

4. Handles conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy

5. Manages and implements an extremely organized process for follow up with sales, warranties, and referral programs.

6. Manages and oversees a well-organized warehouse including management of inventory. Cleanliness and organization are one of the highest priorities of this position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Plans and organizes daily activities related to service and operations.

2. Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.

3. Ensures all vehicles and rigs are properly maintained, cleaned and in good working order.

4. Determines labor and scheduling needs to meet service and operations goals.

5. Manages budgets and forecasts for operations unit.

6. Purchases materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency and safety.

7. Performs high quality insulation removal and installation.

8. Enforces Koala Insulation operations manual and policies.

9. Ensures that all legally required documents are kept up to date.

10. Provides continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety.

11. Excellent managerial, leadership and supervisory skills

12. Prior knowledge of operations management.

13. Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set service goals.

14. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

16. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting. • Must be able to access and navigate the jobsite. • Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

The ideal candidate will have a background in consultative sales and will work with customers to sell the insulation services that best fit their needs. Koala Insulation of North Texas is looking for an experienced sales person who can build and manage a sales team and run their own territory as well.

B2B Experience

Networking with Realtors, Plumbers, HVAC, Electricians or Roofers?

Have you networked in any Chamber of Commerce groups?

Worked with any new home builders, retrofit contractors or insurance companies on claims?

We will help provide qualified leads but the candidate is required to build their own lead base.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Lead generation and data input into CRM.

2. Travels to residential, commercial, and government sites within territory to complete the estimation process for our insulation services.

3. Use product samples, support, and technology to assist you in closing the sale.

4. Networking to build contractor relationships within territory.

5. Performs other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities

1. Ability to interpret blueprints is preferred, but not required. Ability to use a tape measure and measure different rooms and attics.

2. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow up.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

5. Experience using a CRM preferred.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED required.
Prior Consultative Sales experience preferred- even better if you have sales experience in the construction/insulation industry! .
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of walking, standing, crouching, and maneuvering through attics and crawl spaces.

· Must be able to access and navigate the jobsite.

· Jobsite environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
