Professional Company - Quality Workmanship.
I recently had Koala Insulation add blown-in insulation to my attic. I have a mid-70's build single story ranch. Needed serious updates. I called Koala and a competitor.
While Koala was more expensive, the professionalism, the service and the follow up made it absolutely the best investment. Scheduling a quote was super easy, the tech came out the next day. Ran down all their services, climbed up into the attic, took pictures, measured and laid out all the work that I wanted. Scheduling the work was easy. No upfront costs. No 6–8-week lead time. The techs came out on the day of, they maintained communications; arrived on time and busted butt to get the job completed. They were professional, courteous and communicated all steps of the job. They cleaned up behind themselves.
Not only did they bring my attic insulation up to R-49 with blown in fill, they sealed all penetrations from the ceiling, they installed baffles around all my soffit vents, they insulated my 2 skylights to R-21, installed barriers around the attic to keep the insulation from moving, they installed a sealed cover for the attic entry and I purchased 2 solar powered attic ventilation fans from them that I plan to have my roofers install.
I have a statement of work showing exactly what was performed. I have before and after pictures of all the work. I would recommend Koala Insulation to anyone looking for a no BS professional company. My money was well spent and I will call them again if I need any other insulation projects around my home. As a side note, a ceiling mounted light fixture that was located next to the attic entry was broken during the work. It actually came loose. they didn't touch it. The techs cleaned it all up, bought a new fixture on the spot and installed the replacement for me. I got upgraded to LED! No hassle no fuss. An all around stand up company and folks.

The work performed, the proposal of the job, and the materials used were all excellent! The work completed by Ricardo and his partner was fantastic. I met with Gabriel who asked questions and performed a visual assessment and inspection. Gabriel offered a fair price.When the job was completed the comfort level of my home has greatly improved! I use less energy because I don’t need or have to run the AC as often. I would recommend Koala’s Insulation service to all who need or might need insulation.

I had a great experience with Koala Insulation. Gabriel Espinoza, who originally helped me as my salesperson, came out this morning along with Mark Aragon, Ricardo, and the rest of the crew when I had an unrelated issue. They took the time to show me exactly what was going on, put my mind at ease, and even fixed a minor insulation issue while they were there.
Jacob Martin, the general manager, was great to work with throughout the whole process. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, courteous, and efficient — the work was completed quickly and at a fair price. Highly recommend this business.

The spray foam and general insulation work looks fine, and the Day 1 crew was tidy and careful with belongings. Management was responsive and communicative throughout.
That said, the skylight insulation did not match what was described in the sales consultation. The technician had outlined light wood framing at the short ends of each skylight and no insulation inside the skylight cavity. (See pic.) I called after Day 1 and management came out personally with the crew to oversee a redo, which I appreciated.
On Day 2 I was asked what I envisioned and described the original design multiple times, different ways. I sensed it wasn't connecting, but I'm not the type of person to just keep driving my point into people's faces. I am however, a former very successful communicator in technical fields so I do not blame myself.
They left without delivering the (basic!) original design concept. They used my ladder without asking and left it covered in dried foam. A caulk tube left behind oozed onto my garage floor. A razor blade turned up in the woodchips outside. My dogs could have found that. About an hour of cleanup total.
I won't be working with this company again, not because they aren't perfectly nice people. As far as going for another fix, if offered, I'd rather move forward than risk more hassle.
I'll hire someone to do the skylight framing they didn't complete, then get it drywalled. It'll be fine.

Install of closed foam and open foam insulation in ny 50+ years home. Good estimates and suggestions about how to complete the job and better insulate my old home. Chris is a great salesman, and the workers were very considerate and worked very hard at their job. Always kept me in touch of progress and when the next work day was. Mark the manager was always checking in to make sure i was happy with the work. Outstanding job, Definitely would hire for the next job

The New Mexico Actors Lab had one week in early January to insulate the ceilings of the main performance space and the cafe. The crew started Monday morning and finished on time on Saturday before noon. The installation was extremely professional and the crew was hard working, efficient, friendly and responsive. We could not be happier with the work and how the theatre looked after the work was completed. Highly recommended!!!

I had a few insulation projects with Koala Insulation of Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I did on ceilings and walls insulation. They blew cellulose and brought it up to R49 and up to recent code requirements. It helps tremendously, especially with summer heat, as most of it hits from roof. The employees are very professional and courteous. Left everything clean. The owner of the company is very knowledgeable and listens to customers. Thank you very much! Will see you on next project!
