Mario and Eddy from Koala Insulation of GR were professional and kind, taking the time to describe what they were doing before and after to ensure I understood and was happy with the attic vent installation and additional attic insulation (blown/loose cellulose). They were friendly to my dog and respectful to me, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves effectively. I would recommend their high quality work to others and work with them again in the future if needed!

I recently had some insulation work done at my home and couldn’t be happier with the results. Eddy, Paco, Mario, and Dylan were fantastic. They were professional, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. The ops manager, Brian, was also great to work with and kept the project on track throughout the entire process and made sure everything ran smoothly. If you're looking for a reliable team, I highly recommend these guys!

Probably the worst experience with a company I've ever had. If you are looking for insulation work, I'd say find someone else.
My house is 32 years old and I wanted the insulation and attic examined. Koala's salesperson came out and did the inspection. He stated that regarding the soffit vents (exact quote) "they are all blocked". Additionally, he stated they would "Install baffles and blockers in every truss or rafter space." Another direct quote. They were to spray some insulation to top off the levels as well. He sent the estimate and we agreed to the work.
The work crew came out a few days later. The crew lead said, the vents and baffles were fine and didn't need cleaning. They added the spray in insulation and left. Didn't even level or spread it that well, didn't clean out anything and didn't install any new vents or baffles. I checked their work (I don't think they thought I would look) and was not impressed. I called to get the Operations Manager, but was directed again to the Sales guy. When I told him the situation, he said that he didn't really check all of them and that I was focusing on a typo. I know the difference between a typo and a lie.
If he didn't check all of them, how can he state they were all blocked...? By lying.
He could have said I checked several, but not all, and most of them had some level of blockage. I would have been fine with that.
In essence, he lied.
He lied and the first work crew did not do what was agreed to.
The Ops Manager Bryan (Brian) came out and he examined the work and agreed it was not done as per the agreement. A second crew came out (Eddie and Mario) and actually did the work as agreed. They added around 12-15 baffles and leveled out the sprayed in insulation, and they cleaned out any existing vents/baffles. They did well and they did the work that should have been done the first time. Bryan made it right.
I eventually spoke to the owner who did take a small amount off the invoice. Still, the worst experience with a company I've ever had.

Just got attic insulation today, Jordan & Paco did a great job, very friendly and professional, the clean up was spotless! Also a shout out to Chaz the salesman very upfront and explains everything in detail. I definitely would recommend this company

The product and installation exceeded the sales promise. They were able to get me scheduled for insulation earlier than all the competition and their crew was very courteous and well mannered and did a very thorough job, i was watching, and cleaned up after the process was completed. I Highly recommend them.

I was impressed. Work was done well. They will back up their work and their quotes, just work with Brian or Chaz if you have an issue. I had an issue with the work that was addressed quickly and promptly. Quote seemed fair priced. I feel confident enough to recommend to friends and family.

We had a great experience! Dylan and Paul were very professional, keeping me updated as they worked. They took pictures to show me the depth of the new insulation and baffles in our attic. They were both very personable and were great with our dog too! Thank you guys!

Was driving to the new olive garden in battle creek and was almost rearended by 1 of the trucks from this company working on the new texas roadhouse. I drove over there to ask if they had a problem and why they were driving so recklessly and everyone acted like they didn't speak English. Very poor professionals if you ask me. Your driving a company truck for god sake that has the name and business number right on it. Hope someone gets a good talking to. And from someone who does hvac I will never use this company because of this incident of immaturity.

Had Koala Insulation come out to do foam insulation. After checking things over, I noticed they had missed a few spots—but they were super quick to respond and promptly scheduled to come back out to fix it. I appreciated how easy they were to work with and that they stood behind their work. I actually ended up hiring them again to add blown-in insulation while they were there the second time. Overall, great experience and I’d definitely recommend them!

Beesham arrived in time and started working immediately. The task took most of the day, but he and his helper kept working on it until it was done.
So far, I am completely satisfied with their work and hope that, over time, this will attic insulation removal, disinfect and replacement project will prove a wise investment.
Koala Insulation has done an excellent job at a fair price and I highly recommend them.

Koala just did insulation for me. They did the attic and the walls. They ended up blowing a ton of insulation into my house from under my kitchen sink and don't want to take any responsibility for it. I have COPD and Emphysema and they didn't care that I couldn't breathe and was high anxiety and stressed about it. It caused a flare up where I had to be on additional meds for several days, and I 'm still not ok. I then had to pay someone to clean it up (even though they kept telling me they'd clean it up beautiful - they definitely did not). I asked them to pay my cleaner ($100) because I shouldn't have to and they argued with me and haven't contacted me since. Koala replied saying they didn't do any work for me and I must be talking about someone else. They did it through MI-HOPE and they know they did and they surely have record of it.

Dylan and Vinny were awesome! Polite, courteous, quick and professional. They explained the steps they were taking before starting and kept us updated throughout the day. Highly recommend them, even though it was a really cold and snowy day they had smiles on the whole time

The team did a great job in the attic with interior attic repairs, material removal, and reinstallation of insulation, as well as good preparation and clean-up. They crew was well staffed so no one person had to do all the work. All of their charges were shared with me before the work began.

Koala made the entire process so easy. Working with Chaz throughout the process to the awesome service received from the service techs Vinnie and Corbin and the experience was phenomenal. The house is noticeably warmer and outside noise is hardly noticed.
The only thing that should of been better was the cleaning up. The inside of garage is very dirty.

We used koala to get new insulation blown into our attic space. They finished quickly however, our entire upstairs was caked in a layer of dust. No warning was given about how much dust would end up in the area nor was any dust protection used. In the end we reached out to koala and they came back to vacuum and dust. I'm still ending up having to wash all of my clothes, remove everything in my room and wipe everything down as there is dust in every crevice. I also had to relocate my parrot for the night so I could clean his living space as it was dangerous to keep him home. The people we interacted with where kind and tried to remedy the situation but at the end of the day I am still having to spend a good chunk of my day cleaning up after their service.

We were originally quoted a price for going thru our siding but when we did our “test” the worker advised he could easily lift the siding and said he would get us a price to go under the siding vs thru so we could make decision on which route to go. We never received the second quote so when the worker showed up this morning (30 mins late) we had no choice but to go thru the siding as no one knew what the cost would be to go the other route.
The workers who completed the work were nice and efficient but their attention to detail was lacking. They didn’t stop in the correct place and ended up spraying loose insulation into our unfinished garage. Despite their “clean up” there is still a lot of clean up to be completed including in the garage and the yard and driveway.
I was instructed to sign the invoice and it was actually the incorrect one and I was the one to notice.

I would highly recommend Koala Insulation. They installed a couple of bath fans, air sealed our attic, added blown in insulation in our attic, and spray foamed insulation along most of our accessible rim joists in our basement. They also removed and replaced ceiling drywall in the basement for acces to some of the rim joists. We prepped for their arrival by moving furniture and they were in and out in a single day, only 5-6 hrs! The crew was top notch! They were very respectful of our property, friendly and professional. They exceeded my expectations in all aspects of their work and service, answering all of my questions and especially removing and replacing the ceiling drywall. The crew seemed to enjoy their work and have an awesome teamwork system the owner should be very proud of. I'm very happy working with them, excellent service and quality of work.
