Columbus, Ohio – Local entrepreneur Fidel Quinones is changing how Columbus goes about home improvement. Quinones just announced the opening of Koala Insulation in the Columbus market.

Set to open in February of next year and with an office in Westerville, Koala Insulation of Columbus will provide property owners with the full-range of insulation options including spray foam, blown-in and blanket (batt) insulation. Koala Insulation of Columbus will service homeowners in Franklin, Delaware, Fairfield and Union counties. Quinones plans to hire a team of at least three people in the near term, with the potential to add more headcount in the months ahead. The new location is the first Koala Insulation in Ohio.

Quinones brings over 20 years of international business development experience to his new Koala Insulation business. Over his career, Quinones has served in leadership roles at blue-chip companies including Elmer’s Products, Inc., The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and Wendy’s International. While he was at The Scott’s Miracle-Gro Company, Quinones managed a team of over 30 people and oversaw all aspects of the operations, sale and marketing, legal and supply chain functions for the Latin American market.
