How Does Energize CT Rebate Program Work?

The first step starts with a home energy audit. As part of the Home Energy Solutions audit program, you pay a small copay and technicians come to your home and evaluate its energy efficiency and perform basic weatherization and energy-efficiency steps. At the end of the audit, the technician will provide you with a report that includes written recommendations for improving the energy efficiency of your home along with all the available rebates and financing options. The report may include recommendations on insulation, air sealing, windows, doors, HVAC and even appliances. Energize CT Rebate on Insulation

Once you’ve received your report and rebate booklet, you will see that Energize CT offers a rebate of $1.70 per square foot on approved insulation projects (for 2023). Any state licensed insulation contractor can perform the work in your home, and you will still retain the rebate eligibility. You are free to shop around and find a contractor you feel comfortable with and are not required to use the company that performed the audit or anyone that claims to be a “state approved” installer.
