I found koala insulation through Google and was very happy I did. Abel was my sales person and Tyler and Alex were the installation techs. Abel was amazing. He came out,Explained the entire process from top to bottom and answered all my questions. He did an amazing job and sold me within minutes and they were very reasonable. They came out within a few days and Tyler and Alex did a wonderful job. I had a pretty big attic, they removed the 50 year old insulation and blew in new. I was extremely satisfied with the work and they cleaned up everything and did a great job. I highly recommend koala insulation.

My spouse and I got a quote from this company to bring our insulation up to code, as the insulation settled in the year after the home was built. We got the estimate and my husband put a 2k deposit with koala. The builder of our house decided to have the original contractor come back to do the work, since it was still covered. We requested our 2k back from koala, as we were not going to require the services. It took over a month and dozen phone calls to get the money back, and they kept 300 of it for no services rendered. Estimates with most companies are free or under 100 dollars. Do not use koala unless you plan on paying only when services are complete, as they WILL try or succeed in keeping your money. Ive read back through their reviews now and see this has happened multiple times with them.Amistee is a fantastic alternative. We used them for our vents and would recommend using them for any of their other services, as their customer service was fantastic!

They did the insulation for our home quickly over the course of two days. Were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Really appreciate them getting us taken care of before winter.

At beginning of this year, They took my advance 50% payment at quote day. Then they scheduled twice. Every time they schedule, they forced me to clean the house snow stuck. But they did not appear. Then they promised to refund. Since almost end of the year, nothing refunded! I have receipt of advance payment.

Unprofessional, incompetent, thieves, little credibility in their services.They never refunded me 2,500 usd since May 2024. (Credit card payment) and another 2500us (debit card payment).They just want your money and make a thousand excuses, they don't answer your calls when it comes to scamming people.They will give you a high quote applying a SUPER discount.You check the service and when they go to your home they want to do another job. And since you don't accept what they want to do, they cancel the service and that's when they scam you. Be careful people, don't be fooled by their bargain prices. Now I will have to resolve the problem with another instance. I will give you here the follow up where you can complain to the state of Michigan and not get ripped off.In the end this unprofessional company stole my 5,000 usd.I stand by what I say with proof and evidence.

Tyler was a great person to work with at Koala. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgable and informative. He is also a great communicator. I have an autoimmune disease and have lived in homes with mold before so I was cautious, conscious, and curious when it came to insulation materials and operation. Tyler was informative, helpful, and excellent at researching difficult questions. I greatly appreciate his and Koala's help during this process.
