What we found

This one was pretty easy to spot once we got into the space. The customer’s sunroom had no insulation overhead at all.

That explained a lot. Sunrooms can go from nice to uncomfortable pretty fast when they are left open like that. Too much heat, too much outside air movement, and not enough to help the room stay comfortable.

What we did

Koala Insulation of West Florida installed blown-in fiberglass over the sunroom. It was a good fit for the space because it helps fill things in evenly and gives the room better thermal protection overhead.

Nothing fancy here. Just a solid fix for a room that needed it.

How it should feel now

The goal was simple: make the sunroom usable without it turning into the hottest or least comfortable room in the house. With insulation in place, the space should hold up better and feel more like part of the home.

That is usually what people want from a sunroom anyway. A room they can actually enjoy, not one they avoid half the year.
