Perhaps one of the most recognizable forms in insulation is batt insulation, which comes in large rolls or pre-cut sections and is typically pink or yellow in color. These batts, or blankets, are installed in sheet form and laid out between the studs in walls, floors, and attics.
Though they are usually fiberglass, batts can also be made from mineral wool or organic cotton, and depending on the moisture content of the area your insulating, may or may not be faced with kraft paper, vinyl, or aluminum foil.
Our trained technicians do far more than simply unroll the batts. We guarantee that they will install your insulation without gaps or compressions -- both of which can reduce the real-world performance of the material.
