We got several quotes for an attic insulation upgrade. Koala was very through in inspecting the attic and then educating us on the work to be done. Koala completed the project promptly and the crew cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. We were provided with before and after pictures showing details of what was done. They also installed a solar powered attic fan that is very quiet and effective compared to our old one.

The Koala Insulation Team (Pablo, Aidan, Chris M. and C.J.) spent 1.5 days in our home. They displayed a wonderful professional attitude: prompt, friendly, wise and hard working.
Our project was a bit different than most, as the CJM Roofers needed to open an area of our roof so Koala could do their work in an otherwise inaccessible attic space.
The Koala Team worked in tandem with the roofers to complete their task in a timely manner without causing delay with the overall project timeline saving us $.
So well done!

The Koala Insulation team (Aidan, Nate, Christopher and Chris) were extremely polite and professional, not to mention these guys hussle. They tested my home's air flow, sprayed sealed around the electrical fixtures in the attic, verified that the baffles were unobstructed & secured and topped off the insulation. Then the absolute cherry on top was the solar powered attic fan. This fan totally exceeded my expectations. It has totally changed the level of comfort on the 2nd floor. Instead of feeling that change in temperature going up the stairs, it's not more consistent with the 1st floor. These guys are awesome and I totally trust their work and expertise. Give them a call ASAP, you will not be disappointed.

Koala Insulation of Northern Illinois was excellent. Darren assessed my situation and gave me a honest opinion and options that were unique to my property. The technicians were very professional and knowledgeable. The total cost was very reasonable and actually lower than other contractors. Highly recommend Koala of Northern Illinois!

We bought an older 1957 house recently and discovered that the attic was severally under insulated and not air-sealed at all.
Koala was amazing and Lewis and team were excellent. Their attention to detail showed in their air sealing and they blew in fiberglass insulation and now we have R60 up there!
The owner even called me to inform me that we did not have soffits so he was very honest and took off the rafter vent installation saving us some money!
Koala does fantastic work at a fair price and the owner takes pride in his team. They did great work and cleaned up very well after they left.
I would recommend Koala to anyone looking to raise their insulation value or replace some old insulation in their house!
