My HVAC person recommended getting insulation in my attic since the AC wasn't keeping up with the Florida heat.
Koala came out and did an estimate, they kept me informed on when they were going to arrive, and everything went perfectly smoothly.
Within a very short period of time like hours I got the quote or estimate.
I'd been worried about the price, but it wasn't nearly as much as I was afraid it would be - so affordable - and I'm very happy about that.
Service day was set, again the crew doing the installation kept me informed on their ETA and they arrived when they said they would, I was not home at the time but when I got back there was really no evidence they'd done anything because they cleaned up after themselves and everything was put back an order, and we are all very very pleased.
I've already been preaching the benefits of attic insulation, and I've talked to some of my coworkers about it.
I don't know if they're always this quick, but my turnaround time was within a week I think it was very speedy and now it still is a terrible problem with the heat in florida, but more often than not the air conditioning can keep up with it which is going to reduce my utility bill.
Like the old saying, I wish I'd done it sooner but "when you know better you do better" :-)

Job was booked in under 2 weeks of estimate. And the gentlemen who did our insulation project were very kind, professional and didnt take too long. They cleaned up any mess and best of all our house is now staying much cooler inside. Thank you for the great work! Would recommend to friends and family!

Stephen, the salesman completely investigated all areas of the house needing insulation and identified some things other companies had not caught. The installation staff was courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. I’m very happy with the work provided by Koala insulation. I would recommend them to my friends.

Koala was very responsive to a “request” I made by calling their number. I wanted a review of my current attic system; air circulation, baffles, soffits, insulation factor, etc. About 2 weeks later they were out, and went into my attic and gave me the info I wanted in a very professional way so I could understand the exact status of my attic. From that I was able to ascertain what would be helpful for me to have done, and what (which I had imagined I should do, like have them seal all openings like bathroom vents, etc) would be overkill and not add significant value. I hired Koala, and a few weeks later they came out; big truck and two service technicians, performed the work, they blew in insulation increasing my attic R factor to 38, kept soffit air flow up to my attic ceiling solar-powered attic fans clear, stapled in plastic baffle guards where needed, put a cardboard wall up to isolate a rear centered area of my attic to ensure all blown in insulation covers the spaghetti area of my attic full of plumbing, electrical lines, etc. It was tight and very smooth. I am very happy with the outcome and “already” have noticed (b/c I put a temp/humidity gauge up there) the attic is cooler; the house temperatures are excellent, and the utility bills are already showing savings. I highly recommend Koala.

Wow! Looks like Mr Snuffleupagus exploded in my attic! The guys at koala really did a nice job from me. Collin, Jake, and John went over the entire job with me twice Venice leaving to ensure every spot was throughly covered and then some. I’m very pleased with the results. Summer isn’t here yet but both mt wife and I can tell a difference in the house. Just wish I would have done this sooner.

Koala Insulation is fantastic!! The whole process from start to finish was super simple. I wanted to get some updated insulation before the major summer heat sets in. I found Koala while looking for Blown-In insulation services. Stephen was the initial person who came to do the estimate, and he was great at explaining the process and listening to my concerns. Izzy and Jack came later THAT WEEK and did a great job! Very kind and they did a great job! Koala has the best estimate of the other two companies I looked at - very affordable, but not skimpy on quality. 10000/10 would recommend.

We recently used koala for blow in insulation for three separate loft spaces and at their recommendation two solar fans.
The quote and pricing process was efficient and prompt.
The team that installed the insulation were easy to work with and done a good job cleaning up at the end.
I was impressed when they ran out of materials at their first visit and came back with more.
Hard to tell if it’s made a major impact so far, but with so little insulation before it can only be better.
We would recommend, but it’s not inexpensive.

I needed my attic re-insulated so I contacted Koala. Bruce came and looked in my attic. He let me know what the company could do for me and once I approved his very reasonable price they came out within a few days and took care of everything. I had the pleasure of recently working with Koala. Everyone I met with the company was courteous and professional. The first person I met with the company was Bruce who gave me different insulation options to consider. He patiently answered all my questions the day I met him at my house and thereafter. Bruce was very fair in his pricing and was always responsive in getting back to me. I feel strongly that Bruce is an owner that stands by his service and believes in customer satisfaction. Kelly led the crew responsible for the blow in insulation of the first floor attic and removal of old insulation from the upstairs attic. Ryan led the crew responsible for the spray foam in the upper attic and the removal of insulation from the crawl space. The work done by everyone (those named as well as their coworkers) turned out great. I want to give Ryan a special thank you for coming out a second day to rake out and dispose of smaller insulation pieces on the ground in the crawl space and for answering my many questions He is very knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend Koala!

I had the pleasure of having Bruce come do my estimate, he was super professional, on time, flexible to meeting my needs for scheduling. He discussed the entire process thoroughly, even discussed why he wasn't going to upsell me and how it would be a waste. Showing honesty and integrity is a lost professionalism these days and was refreshing to see that in a business these days!! They gave me the best price for my job out of 3 companies. Scheduled me quickly to beat the end of year and allow me to take advantage of the tax credit. Ryan showed up on time, was super professional, polite, respectful of my home. Bruce didn’t hesitate for a second, he worked with me, rescheduled everything without any issues, and made a stressful situation a whole lot easier. Truly above-and-beyond customer service.
When install day arrived, Isrreal (Izzy) and Jak were exceptional. They were professional, respectful, and handled the entire job with care and efficiency. What really stood out was their attention to detail, especially during cleanup. They didn’t just sweep up a few pieces of insulation, they swept my entire garage, leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. Extremely appreciated!

We were having a problem with the plumbing pipes in the attic becoming very hot in the summer. So I called Koala Insulation, after hearing about them from an interview with Carren Reale, on WSOS. Bruce Hammer, with Koala Insulation came out to assess the problem. He combed the attic and determined that we could use some additional insulation, which would help our problem. He also found some areas in the attic where we didn't have any insulation! His estimate was very reasonable so we scheduled the service. His servicemen were prompt and did a wonderful job of adding the blown-in insulation. They were respectful and helpful. They addressed the special areas too. They cleaned up after themselves and even left an old tool which they had found. I would wholeheartedly recommend Koala Insulation to anyone needing insulation!

Service was prompt once scheduled. Mess was minimized through the use of plastic sheeting. Price was more affordable than expected. Payment was easy to make via a web link after the service was completed. Will use again if needed in the future.

I think most people like us don't give insulation too much thought. We have lived in our home 25 years and it is 27 years old. Whoever thinks about compressed insulation? But we were doing a whole home remodel down to the studs and our contractor mentioned it to us. So, we contacted Koala. Highly recommended from our other contractor DM Design and Planning. Jack & Izzy did a beautiful job. My husband went in the attic and took pictures afterward. We thank you very much.

Koala Insulation did a fantastic job installing blown-in insulation in my attic. The team was punctual, professional, and explained everything clearly. Vaughan went above and beyond to fix an issue with an AC diffuser boot before covering it up with insulation. The work was done efficiently and they left my house mostly clean. I’ve already noticed better temperature control and lower energy bills. Highly recommend Koala Insulation!

The two guys showed up on time (8:30) and started to unload the truck. They said they could not pull all the batton down in a couple of areas because the space was just to small. No pictures were taken to show the work was completed.

This kind of customer service is a very rare find in today's market. This is an honest company run by honest people. They have earned my business going forward. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Highly recommend Koala Insulation of Jacksonville. We were dealing with a heat/humidity problem in the attic. We had almost zero insulation in the attic. Kyle was very thorough and straightforward during the evaluation. The plan was good, made sense and was reasonably priced compared to other companies. No upselling, just a solution that works for my situation. Installation of blown insulation was right on time, done in 2 hours and zero mess. I am sure this will make a difference in HVAC and home efficiency. They'll be back to install attic fans at a later date. Would definitely recommend Koala Jax and work with them again!
