We recently hired Koala Insulation of West Portland for a full attic and crawlspace insulation retrofit, and they did a fantastic job.
In the attic, they vacuumed out all the old insulation, sealed up air leaks, installed proper soffit baffles, and blew in a fresh layer of fiberglass loose-fill well past our target depth (sitting at a solid 15–16 inches). They even wrapped all our vertical pipes and insulated the kneewalls properly.
The crawlspace work was just as impressive. They installed new underfloor batt insulation, secured it tightly with a great wire and twine grid so nothing will ever sag, wrapped the copper piping, and left a clean vapor barrier throughout.
As someone managing my own home project, I appreciate tradespeople who take pride in their craft and don't cut corners. Koala Insulation delivered top-tier work from top to bottom. Highly recommend them to anyone needing insulation work done right!

They insulated my daughters attic and did an AWESOME job. They took pictures of each step and they did a nice job of cleaning up. I will definitely use them when I need insulating done!!! They also did it on a VERY HOT day and I can't imagine how hot it was in the attic. Thanks Jose and crew for a job well done under extreme conditions.

Koala came out to insulate my attic. They were on time, answered my questions, left no mess behind and informed me of the completed job so that I can view their completed work. Jose and this team did an excellent job at doing their job.

Professional, clean, efficient, priced well and answered all my questions. My attic looks like a BIG bubble bath with all that insulation! Great care was also done making sure they didn't track in any dirt or mess and made sure my 2 cats stayed in the house. Thank you!

Yup, this my second project with Koala. I have also recommended them and my buddy was also well served. Pricing is good, appropriate, communication is clean and crews are efficient and knowledgeable. My latest project was foaming the roof of my garage. Went down without a hitch and looks about as perfect as spray foam gets.

Prior to contacting Koala, a couple other companies were contacted concerning what needed to be done. I knew exactly what I wanted from the service for what needed to be foamed. Let's just say, while speaking with Adam from Koala, he agreed with what was needed, gave a reasonable price, therefore I booked the appointment. Mark came out 7am ready. Thank you Mark. The fantastic crew came by 7:30am. They completed the task. Looked superb, outstanding. Even though Koala has been in business less years than the others I contacted, the main contacts were more understandable, got straight to how they could help and the price was more reasonable than the others. I sincerely recommend Koala Installations.

I researched several companies and their estimates for Crawl Space Encapsulation at my home before I decided on Koala. The communication from the owner was very timely and his onsite supervisor Mark and his crew were terrific. They were professional, friendly, efficient and very informative. My crawl space turned out better than I anticipated. I highly recommend Koala of SW Chicago!

Their price and communication are outstanding. They did a great job installing blown in cellulose in my very low attic. When they did the install they were very fast, but they left a huge amount of dust in my halls and all over the walls. They also damaged and got dirt on a bunch of places on my freshly painted walls. I called the representative and he made things right with me, so they still get 5 stars.

I used Koala on a new oversea container home . 5 containers. 1600 square feet. They were recommended by a friend who I bought the containers from.
I couldn’t be happier with the results. Adam and Kyle were great , as well as the other 2 employees. It took 2 days . After each day , they left the place all cleaned up.
A couple weeks later, a retired contractor visited the house. He mentioned what a great job was done.
I know not many people use container homes, but they’re the experts on those types of homes. It’s safe to say that all the work they do is excellent.
The professionalism, the work itself and the cleanliness is top notch
I highly recommend anybody looking for spray foam insulation give them a call . You’ll be glad you did.

We would recommend to anyone looking for insulation to use Koala!! From the moment Mark arrived for the estimate we felt very comfortable with the company. We had two other providers come out to look as well. One didn’t show up and the other never looked in the attic and quoted double the price of Koala.
Mark and his team finished the job quickly and even took pictures to show us the before and after pictures so we didn’t have to go into the tight opening of the Attic!
Thank you Mark and Team! Koala is definitely an A+/5 star company!

Very happy with the work Adam and his team have done with my attic. I had 4 other companies bid the job and ultimately decided to choose Koala for the job. Adam answered all the questions I had and was easy to work with.
I decided to increase my attic insulation to R-60 due to horrible existing insulation, and air seal my attic. Kyle and his team showed up on time, communicated clearly, left my house as clean as before they came and even provided me with pictures of the whole job start to finish which was very nice.
Good people, good price, and good results.

I called Koala Insulation on Monday, They were out at my home 2 hours later to give me an estimate. Liked estimate, better R-rate and inches blown in than others quoted at same price. I checked reviews and liked what I read. Job was done same week. They kept in touch in emails and texts before, during and after. They also send pictures before and after as they are working. I knew when they were on their way to my house through text and promptness is an A+ right on time. After they were done I couldn't even tell they were here, garage cleaner than when they got there. Their professionalism and workman and politeness is top quality. I would highly recommend this company. Excellent A+ Job done.

Koala SW Chicago was expedient to remediate our mold issue, foam the roof deck, seal and fiberglass insulate the walls for a reasonable price. Great team!
I had them back for the main attic too. They got all the way back over a tight hallway and sealed air leaks despite intense heat that day. IR images show a huge improvement.

The estimator came by and was on time with the set appointment. He was professional and patient in answering all of my questions / concerns when providing us a quote for the job. The installer, Kyle, was also professional in answering additional concerns. Kyle and his partner also explained the process and also took before and after pictures of the job. Great job done by all in an efficient timeline. Thank you!
