Trusted Insulation Contractors in Wilmington, NC
Living in Wilmington means dealing with a lot—historic homes downtown, fast-growing neighborhoods near Porters Neck, and a coastal climate that puts our HVAC systems through the absolute ringer. Between the heavy summer humidity and the damp, salty air, keeping a Wilmington home comfortable isn’t always easy.
If your second floor feels like an oven in July, or your floors feel clammy in the winter, the culprit is usually right above your head or down beneath your feet. A lot of homes around New Hanover County are fighting against aging insulation, unsealed framing gaps, or vented crawl spaces that pull moisture straight up into the house.
Save Up to $700 with Duke Energy
The good news is that you don’t have to tackle energy upgrades completely on your own. If you’re a Duke Energy customer, you might qualify for their Smart $aver program, which offers rebates—sometimes up to $700—toward qualifying insulation and air-sealing work. Because we are a pre-approved contractor, we can help you figure out if your project qualifies, guide you through the initial Home Energy Check, and make sure the rebate is applied directly to your invoice.
How We Fix It
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all fix. When we come out to a property, we look at how your specific home handles our coastal weather. Depending on what your house needs, our team handles:
Spray Foam: Perfect for sealing up rim joists, tricky additions, or creating an airtight thermal barrier that stops humidity in its tracks.
Blown-In Attic Insulation: A quick, cost-effective way to top up settled fiberglass and stop your AC from leaking out through the roof.
Crawl Space Encapsulation: Heavy-duty vapor barriers that block mold, mildew, and that damp coastal air from creeping up into your living space.
Air Sealing: Tracking down those hidden cracks and gaps around wiring and ductwork where your conditioned air is literally leaking out of the walls.
Batt Insulation & Solar Attic Fans: Great traditional coverage and smart solar ventilation to keep hot air moving off your roof deck.
Commercial Insulation: Keeping local offices, storefronts, and commercial spaces energy-efficient and comfortable for employees and customers alike.
